Course Layout
Week 1: Introduction to clay and pinch pots
Week 2: Slab building, flat ware
Week 3: Coil Building
Week 4: Refining, finishing, carving and decorating.
We will bring you into our studio four times throughout the course, each time for a 2.5 hours hands-on class. All clay, first firing costs, tools and materials are included in the price.
You will learn all the basics of handbuilding to be able to continue clay making into the future, and take home multiple handmade pieces by you!
Glazing is not included.
Your items will be available for collection or to glaze from 2 weeks after your last session.
Please note ALL SESSIONS are compulsory attendance. There are no makeup sessions. Each session is important for your skill development and essential to your learning. Please make sure you book a course month and time slot that you can attend.
