Handbuilding Course 1: Beginner

Our 4-week courses run over 4 consecutive weeks, on the same day and time each week. This schedule is fixed - the course cannot be completed over a shorter or longer period.

Discover the joy of clay and the art of sculpting by hand. Over four creative weeks, you'll explore pinching, coiling, and slab building - learning to shape, texture, and design your own unique ceramic pieces with guidance from our friendly instructors.

You'll explore:

• Core handbuilding techniques: pinching, coiling & slabs
• How to shape, join, and texture your forms
• Creative ways to bring your ideas to life in clay

What's included:

• 4 hands-on sessions (2.5 hours each)
• Up to 8 of your own handmade pieces to keep
• All clay and firing included
• FREE glazing class to finish your work

⚠️ Missed a session? Depending on the schedule, we may be able to slot you into another course group for your missed session if applicable — make-up sessions can be organised at $60 per hour.
